CAR Roadmaster is known as Roadie around here. His sire is none other than Peruvian Grand Master who needs no introduction. Roadie is 1/2 Accoyo, 1/2 Allianza, 100% Peruvian, with peachy beige fiber that took 4th place at the 2004 AOBA Nationals, 1st place at the 2006 IAOBA spin off, 3rd place at the 2006 VA Classic spin off, and 3rd place at the 2006 AOBA Nationals spin off.
The fleece sample pictured to the right is Roadie's 2 year old sample and has a CV of 17%! This was a random sample from his bag of fiber sent in for testing not a hand selected sample from his side.
Roadie started his breeding career in November of 2005 and settled Princess Stephenie on the first try. She's had his first cria in Oct. '06 and we appropriately named her Mada Vemi's Drama Queen because she always takes center stage. Roadie visited Charmed Alpacas in the north west corner of Florida and settled his next two females there on the first try! Roadie's 4th settled female is Pepper Fire and she took on the first try as well. He's got cria due in several states over the next year plus the three he already has on the ground. So far we have 2 females (white and brown) and one male (light rose grey!) so Roadie has definitely proven he can throw color!
Roadie's breeding fee is currently $1,200 and well worth it by the looks of these first gorgeous crias hitting the ground. All have the same short muzzle, same gorgeous fiber, great conformation, and good bone. They look like carbon copies of various colors.
